FAQ
How long is the session?
Individual sessions last 50 minutes. Couples or family sessions last 90 minutes.
Are the appointments online or face-to-face?
The sessions take place, in person, near the Amstelstation in Amsterdam, or online through available platforms.
Are sessions covered by health insurance?
Consultations are private and therefore not linked to a Dutch health plan. However, when the family physician recommends psychotherapy, some plans may refund part of the consultation fee. In addition, it is possible to request a refund on the income tax return. Contact us for more information.
How extended does a therapeutic process last?
The duration of a therapeutic process varies according to the demands brought by the patient. More specific questions tend to make the therapeutic process leaner, while broader demands may require more time.
How often do sessions take place?
For a good engagement and treatment response, I recommend that the sessions be tolerated weekly, however, it is possible to make them more flexible according to the patient's needs.
Do you also offer any support for students or stater professionals?
Yes. I also offer consultation for new professionals or students who are looking forward to starting their careers but still feel insecure about the first steps. Contact me for further information and I will be happy to help.
In which language are the sessions held?
The sessions can be held in Portuguese or English.
