How self-criticism can limit you
In this article, I want to point out how I have observed and pointed out to my patients how much self-criticism can negatively influence people’s lives. Complaints related to anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, attention deficit, and so many others, have self-punishment and self-criticism as common factors.
No. You don’t have to figure out who you are.
You have probably heard someone saying that they would like to know who they are and, quite possibly, you must have already said that to yourself too. But I am sorry to inform you that you will never really know that. There will not come a day when you will realize who you are because you are not, you are always being.

You may already split up with times when you left something for the last hour or else, things you’ve been putting off for years for some reason. In general, we all have the ability to postpone something, thanks to our cognitive reward ability to postpone. Although the comparison appears in the clinic in the form of speeches such as: “I don’t feel that I am as good as he is”; “I always think that the other communicates better than I do”; “She is more attractive than I am”; “I will never be as successful as her”, there are at least two types of places we can put ourselves when we are comparing ourselves.
